Famous Indian comedian Munawar Farooqui has said that there are many places in the world to visit, but the peace like that of Masjid al-Haram is nowhere to be found.
Munawar Farooqui expressed his views while talking about his spiritual experiences and various aspects of his personal life in a TV program.
Munawar Farooqui recently participated in a Ramadan show in India, which is hosted by former Indian actress Sana Khan and her husband Mufti Anas. During the program, he spoke openly about his life, spirituality and family matters.
During the conversation, the comedian said that the pace of life in the present era has become much faster than before and this speed often bothers him. While mentioning the Umrah journey, he said that his wife had a lot of information in this regard because she had performed Umrah before.
Munawar Farooqi said that when he went for Umrah, he knew that he had to return after a few days, but the spirituality and atmosphere there were such that his heart did not want to return. According to him, the Haram Sharif has a special effect that makes a person feel close to it.
Munawar Farooqi said that if you are really worried about someone, it is better to pray for them instead of interrupting them. He said that in times of trouble, a person first calls on Allah, no matter how much science advances, at the time of trouble, only “Ya Allah” comes out of the tongue and not “Ya Doctor”.
He added that from a religious point of view, the real success is when people pray for you from the heart and remember you with good wishes.
