Social media users have come under severe criticism for a viral TikTok video of a police officer singing the song Dhurandhar.
A video went viral on social media recently in which a female police officer was making a video on the song from the Bollywood film Dhurandhar inside a police station.
This video was shared by various accounts on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), in which a female police officer is seen inside a police station in a uniform while the song ‘Fasil’ from the film Dhurandhar is playing in the background.
The captions accompanying the video questioned the sanctity of the police uniform, and some users criticized it by linking it to the police.
The iVerify Pakistan team investigated the viral content and accessed the source of the video through a reverse image search. The research revealed that the woman seen in the video does not belong to any police force but is a fashion model and actress from Karachi, and that the video is part of a shoot.
The research revealed that the woman herself had shared the video on her Instagram account on December 12, 2025, with the caption clearly stating that it was just a shoot and that real police officers do not wear such clothes or high heels.
Other posts and videos of the actress also make it clear that the police uniform was used only as a character.
It should be noted that the song used in the video is part of the Bollywood film Dhurandhar, which has also been criticized in Pakistan for its alleged anti-Pakistan narrative. In this context, the video gained more attention, and some quarters wrongly linked it to the Pakistani police.
According to Fact Check, the claim that the woman seen in the viral video is a Pakistani police officer is not true. The fact is that she is an actress, and the video is part of a short film or shoot, hence the claim has been termed misleading.
