The body of actress Humaira Asghar Ali was found in an apartment in the Defence area of Karachi. A neighbor shared that the actress did not socialize much with the people in the building.
While speaking to Geo News, the neighbor said that the landlord had mentioned Humaira was delaying her rent payments.
The neighbor also said that today the police broke the door of her flat and found her body inside.
It was also revealed that Humaira did not interact much with others in the building and she did not own a car.
It is important to note that Humaira Asghar’s body was found in an apartment in Defence Phase 6, Karachi. She had been living in that rented flat for the past 7 years. The actress moved from Lahore to Karachi in 2018. The police have sent the body for post-mortem.
According to SSP South Mahzoor Ali, she had been living alone in the flat since 2018. She had stopped paying rent since 2024.
The landlord had filed a case at the Clifton Cantonment Board. When the bailiff came today, the door was found locked. When it was forced open, her body was discovered lying on the floor inside the room.
SSP South said that initially, her death appears to be natural, but the exact cause will be known after the post-mortem.
Police surgeon Dr. Samia stated that the body was decomposed when it was brought to the hospital. Samples have been collected from the body for further examination.
