Bollywood actor and comedian Rajpal Yadav broke his silence on the controversy at the award show and revealed the truth behind it. Bollywood’s Dabangg actor Salman Khan had tweeted in favor of Rajpal Yadav yesterday, which went viral in a few moments, on which the comedian recorded a explanatory statement today.
Indian journalist and host Saurabh Dwivedi and comedian Zakir Khan were hosting an award show when Saurabh trolled him over Rajpal Yadav’s loan case.
The controversy started when the 55-year-old actor attended the event held on April 5, where Dwivedi made a humorous comment on the actor’s cheque bounce case during a live conversation.
The moment caused laughter among the audience present there, however, after its video clip went viral, criticism began on the host.
Importantly, Rajpal Yadav’s fans did not like this at all and came out in support of the actor and during this, they made thousands of posts in which the Indian journalist was severely criticized.
During this, other artists including Salman Khan, Farhan Khan also posted on social media in favor of their co-actor.
Later, Rajpal Yadav took to social media and said that the controversial part during the award show was actually a joint plan of him, Zakir and Saurabh.
While speaking in the video, he called both of them his younger brothers.
He said that he has always respected them, and also said that Saurabh asked everyone present in the auditorium to stand up and applaud for him.
He requested social media users not to troll Saurabh or anyone else and also said that ‘showing Saurabh’s heart is equal to showing my heart’.
He said at the end of the video, “I love Saurabh, I love Zakir, I love all of you. Whatever I am today, I am because of all of you, thank you.”
