Actor Syed Jibran revealed a dangerous incident that happened during a shoot inside Adiala Jail. In a recent TV program, he shared that he was filming a project in the jail where he narrowly escaped a life-threatening accident while performing his scene.
He explained that for the shoot, he was made to wear a hanging rope and was placed on the gallows. The scene required recording until the lever was pulled, but the wooden platform was secured with chains so it would not open. However, the lever did not work properly, and the scene had to be repeated.
Jibran said that for some unknown reason, the director asked him to step down from the gallows before the second attempt. As soon as he came down, the lever was pulled again, and the chained platform suddenly opened.
He added that since his face was already covered with a black cloth for the hanging scene, if the director had not told him to step down, the sudden opening of the platform could have cost him his life.
