What sacrifices did Rashmika make for success in her career?

Rashmika Mandanna is one of the most talented actresses in the Indian film industry, and she is quickly climbing the ladder of success.

But while this success is taking her career to new heights, it has also brought some regrets and sadness in her personal life. Recently, she spoke about the emotional cost of her rising career and how she lost many special moments in life because of it.

In a recent interview with Nod magazine, when Rashmika was asked how she feels about having a day off, she gave an emotional reply. She said she cries for her off days. She has a sister who is 16 years younger than her and is now 13 years old.

Rashmika shared that in the last 8 years, since she started working, she hasn’t seen her sister grow up. Now her sister is almost as tall as her, but Rashmika missed watching her grow.

She said that we keep moving forward with time, but sadly, she hasn’t been home for the last one and a half years. She hasn’t met her friends either. Earlier, they used to include her in their plans, but now they don’t. It is a bitter truth.

Rashmika also said she is trying to balance work and life. She shared that her mother always tells her, if you want success in your career, you have to sacrifice your personal life. And if you want a personal life, you have to give up your work life. But Rashmika said she is the kind of person who wants to manage both, even if it means working twice as hard. She added that it is a daily struggle.

Remembering her hometown Coorg, Rashmika said she can still feel the scent in the air. She described the roads where coffee beans are left to dry in the sun. She misses all that and hasn’t seen it in a long time.

On the professional side, Rashmika was recently seen in the films Chhava and Kabira.

Now, she is preparing for a horror-comedy film called Thama, in which Ayushmann Khurrana is her co-star. She has also completed shooting for The Girlfriend and recently announced her next film Meesa.
