Which Bollywood actor has left the Bollywood Khans behind?

The three Khans of Bollywood – Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan – have been the pillars of Hindi cinema for the past 30 years.

Along with South Indian superstars like Rajinikanth, Mohanlal, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Chiranjeevi, they ruled the Indian box office for a long time.

But in recent years, a new generation of young actors has come forward, trying to make their own identity. And now it seems one of them is truly succeeding.

This actor is Ranbir Kapoor, whose upcoming film budgets are now higher than the combined budgets of the Khans’ films.

Ranbir Kapoor is currently at the peak of his fame after the success of Brahmastra and Animal. Both films did very well at the box office, and their sequels are now in the works.

Animal Park, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is being made on an even bigger scale than the first part, with a budget of over 100 crore rupees.
Brahmastra: Part Two is also said to be more grand than the first one, and industry sources claim its budget might cross 400 crore rupees.

But that’s not all. Ranbir is also shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Love and War, starring alongside Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt. This film has a reported budget of 200 crore rupees.

However, the biggest project of Ranbir’s career will be the two-part Ramayana directed by Nitesh Tiwari.

Producer Namit Malhotra recently confirmed that the combined budget of both parts is 500 million dollars, which is around 4300 crore rupees. In these films, Ranbir Kapoor will play Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi will be Sita, and Kannada superstar Yash will play Ravan.

This two-part film is being called the most expensive project in Indian cinema history.

If we add the budgets of all of Ranbir’s upcoming films, the total goes beyond 5000 crore rupees. And this number will grow as more projects are announced.

In comparison, Shah Rukh Khan is currently working on just one film, King, which has a budget of around 350 crore rupees.
Salman Khan’s film Galwan Valley has a similar budget, while Aamir Khan has not yet announced any new project.

Even Prabhas, who is one of the busiest and highest-paid actors right now, is behind Ranbir. His three films – Raja Saab, The Soldier, and Spirit – together have a budget of less than 1000 crore rupees.

The only actor who seems close to Ranbir is Yash, who besides Ramayana is also working on a film called Toxic, which has a budget of 200 crore rupees.

The year 2026 is expected to be huge for Ranbir Kapoor. It will begin with the release of Love and War, where he and Vicky Kaushal will appear on the big screen together.

Sources say that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is creating an action scene in the film that will be unlike anything ever seen in Indian cinema.
The face-off between Ranbir and Vicky will be a major cinematic event.

At the end of 2026, Ranbir will again be seen in a big showdown when his character Lord Ram will go against Yash’s Ravan in Ramayana. This will not only be a battle of characters but also a clash of two superstars’ fan bases.

Ranbir’s Love and War is set to release on March 20, 2026.
Ramayana: Part One will release on Diwali 2026, and
Ramayana: Part Two will hit cinemas on Diwali 2027.

Ranbir Kapoor is now rising as the most bankable star in the industry, even ahead of the Khans.
