Famous actor Hamza Ali Abbasi shared in a recent podcast that he took the Central Superior Services (CSS) exam and was offered a position in the Police Service afterward.
He said he appeared for the exam to fulfill his mother’s wish, and when the results came, his marks were higher than expected, which led to the police job offer.
Hamza mentioned that although he respects the police as a strong institution, he knew that government service did not suit his nature.
He convinced his mother that he should not take the government job because his interest was not in that field. He said his main reason for taking the CSS exam was his curiosity about national issues, not the desire for a job.
During the conversation, Hamza also shared that he suffered from kidney problems at the age of eight, which deeply worried his family. He praised the professional success of the women in his family, especially his sister Dr. Fazeela Abbasi, who is an internationally known dermatologist.
