The rising Pakistani actress Halima Ali is getting a lot of attention for her performance in the drama serial Parvarish. She is playing the role of Mishi in the drama, and with her strong acting, she has won the hearts of viewers in a short time.
In Parvarish, Halima plays Maya’s younger sister. Maya is played by Aina Asif. Mishi often brings new and interesting twists to Maya’s life.
In an interview, Halima Ali shared that when she was just 3 years old, her father posted a cute video of her. One of his friends saw the video and suggested that she should go for an audition because she looked very cute.
Halima said she passed the audition and started working in commercials. She wanted to start acting at the age of 7, but her mother asked her to wait because the working hours were too long. Later, Halima entered the drama industry at the age of 11 with the serial Badnaseeb.
She also revealed that she was contacted for Parvarish after another actress had already been chosen for the role. But during the look test, the chemistry between that actress and Aina Asif didn’t look good on camera. So, director Maisam Naqvi contacted Halima. She went for the audition and was selected for the role of Mishi.
Halima said that Aina Asif, who plays her on-screen sister, is also her friend in real life. They worked together before in the drama Mayi Ri and also did some brand shoots together.
She added that Aina always helps her with studies on set, and they share a friendly bond.
Talking about her age, Halima said that she has just passed 7th grade and is 14 years old.
Halima described the set of Parvarish as a good place to work, but she also mentioned that there are some sets where only lead actors are respected.
