Pakistani actress model and singer Anzela Abbasi said that at the age of 22 she decided to leave home She told her mother that she would earn on her own and live an independent life
Speaking on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast Anzela Abbasi said that at first it was difficult but later their relationship improved Her mother started trusting her She would visit home bring food and they spent good time together Later when her mother told her to settle in life she returned to live with her
She said that Pakistani dramas mostly show issues between mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law which has shaped public mindset She believes dramas should create awareness about important social issues
Anzela Abbasi said she does not want to limit herself to one field She is an actress a model and a singer She enjoys creative work and wants to try something new in every field
Talking about her parents’ divorce she said that her mother rebuilt everything after the divorce She was very young in her twenties when Anzela was born and played both mother and father roles She never felt the lack of a father and has no complaints About childhood she added that sometimes there was normal frustration with parents but it went away as she grew up
About her father Shamoon Abbasi she said that she knows he is a great actor but she does not try to connect herself to him She does not follow her parents’ work She watched him act direct and write but does not see him as a role model She learned from her father to keep working hard on her craft and always try to improve in every field
Anzela Abbasi is the daughter of famous artists Javeria Abbasi and Shamoon Abbasi Her parents married in 1997 and divorced in 2007
Anzela Abbasi has acted in many successful dramas including Lal Ishq Gila and Haqeeqat She married Tashfi Ansari in August 2023
