Pakistani actress Aamina Sheikh recently spoke in detail about her personal life and her break from showbiz in a YouTube interview.
Known for her strong performances in popular dramas like Maat, Pakeeza, Daam, Uraan, and Main Abdul Qadir Hoon, Aamina stayed away from the media industry for about seven years after her divorce. She shared that after ending her marriage with Mohib Mirza and becoming a mother, she needed time for emotional and mental healing.
Aamina said that there was a lot of pressure and negativity around her during that period, so she decided to move to the United States, where her family already lived. They supported her and helped her recover.
During these seven years, she focused on rebuilding herself, organizing her life, and making thoughtful decisions about her future. While living in Dubai, she met Umar, and with the consent of both families, they decided to get married.
Aamina said she keeps her personal life private because she wants to protect her family from social media attention and unnecessary discussions. She avoids sharing details about her daughter or home life publicly.
It is important to note that Aamina Sheikh and Mohib Mirza’s marriage ended in 2019. Later, Mohib married actress Sanam Saeed, while Aamina also remarried and now has a son from her second marriage.
