Actor and singer Azaan Sami Khan shared that during the shooting of the first scene of the drama Main Manto Nahin Hoon, he was under so much pressure that he almost fainted.
The drama recently ended, and Azaan played the role of Farhad Bin Yameen. Viewers praised his strong and emotional performance in this powerful and controversial character.
Azaan appeared as a guest on ARY Digital’s show Buzz, where he talked about the behind-the-scenes moments of the drama and his character.
He said that his first scene was the one where Farhad comes to shoot Manto. This scene was filmed in Bahria Town, and it was his very first day of shooting. He had to perform in front of big stars like Humayun Saeed and Sanam Saeed, which made him very nervous and stressed. Still, he managed to complete the famous Hai Allah scene successfully.
Azaan revealed that he almost fainted during the shoot because the scene was very emotional and intense, and he had to perform it in front of senior actors.
He also shared that before shooting, he asked the director Nadeem Baig for some water. The director stayed calm and helped him perform the scene with full confidence.
