After the cancellation of the marriage of Indian women’s cricketer Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Mitchell last December, new details related to this matter are now coming out, which have gained significant attention on social media.
According to the latest revelations, Smriti had to face betrayal during the wedding ceremonies. Actor and producer Vidyan Mane, who calls himself Smriti Mandhana’s childhood friend, claimed in an interview that Palash Mitchell was caught red-handed with another woman during the wedding ceremonies held in November 2025.
According to him, the incident took place at the wedding venue, where the groom’s actions were allegedly exposed to everyone.
Vidyan Mane said that the situation was terrible. Smriti’s fellow female cricketers also reacted strongly and beat up Palash Mitchell.
Vidyan Mane further alleged that Palash Mitchell also cheated her out of Rs 40 lakh; however, the music composer has rejected these allegations through a statement on social media, calling them baseless and false.
However, there has been no reaction from Palash Mitchell yet on the alleged incident that took place during the wedding.
It should be noted that Smriti Mandhana and Palash Mitchell had known each other for many years and were to tie the knot in November. Initially, the reason for the postponement of the wedding was given as Smriti’s father’s illness, while later in early December, both families jointly announced the cancellation of the wedding and kept the details private.
