Indian producer and late actress Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor revealed that during the shooting of the film Mom, Sridevi refused to stay in the same room with him.
In an interview, Boney Kapoor, who was also the producer of the 2017 film Mom, shared that his wife Sridevi was deeply passionate about her work and always gave her best to match the demands of her role.
He explained that in the film Mom, Sridevi was playing the role of a mother whose daughter goes through a traumatic incident. To stay true to her character, she even avoided living with him in the same room because she only wanted to remain in the mindset of a mother and distance herself from real-life relationships during the shooting.
According to Boney Kapoor, Sridevi believed that if she stayed with him, her focus would be disturbed, and she would not be able to fully deliver her performance.
It is worth mentioning that Pakistani actress Sajal Aly played the role of Sridevi’s daughter in the film Mom.
