Famous Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi has admitted that his wife Parveen Shahani is not comfortable with the romantic scenes he does in films.
Emraan is known for his bold roles in movies like Murder, Zeher, Jannat, Gangster, Aksar, and Raaz: The Mystery Continues. Since the beginning of his career, he has been called the serial kisser of Bollywood.
Recently, an old interview video of Emraan Hashmi went viral on social media, where he said he has no plans to get rid of the serial kisser tag. He shared that he has accepted this label as part of his identity and will not try to change it.
He also shared a funny incident from the film Tum Mile. He said that while watching the movie, there was a scene where he and Soha Ali Khan were alone. Normally, he would kiss the girl in such scenes, but in this one, he didn’t. A person sitting next to him joked and asked if he was sick during the filming. Emraan compared it to how people react if Salman Khan doesn’t take off his shirt in a movie—they feel something is missing.
Emraan explained that audiences have certain expectations from actors. In his case, people expect to see him kiss in movies.
Talking about his personal life, Emraan said that his family understands this is his source of income. While his wife and father don’t like how intimate his scenes are in every film, they also understand that he made these choices to keep his career strong. They may not enjoy it, but they know it matters for his success.
