Censor Board allows screening of ‘Joyland’

Pakistan’s censor board has approved the screening of the film Joyland after reviewing the film on the directions of the Prime Minister.

According to sources, the central censor board directed minor editing in the film. Sources said instructions were given to delete objectionable one to two minutes of scenes from the film.

Yesterday, the government committee recommended to the Full Censor Board to review the film again. The government committee had also termed the objections of the nine-member censor board as unjustified.
