Bihar’s Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) president Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav has said that films of film director Karan Johar and Bollywood actor Salman Khan will not be released in the Indian state of Bihar.
According to Indian media reports, Pappu Yadav said that young Bollywood actor Sushant Singh has been killed and behind him are Indian filmmakers Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Chopra and Salman Khan.
“The government should decide to conduct a CBI inquiry within eight days of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. If not, we will go to court,” Yadav said in a statement.
He appealed to the Chief Minister that an inquiry should be held as soon as possible. He said that our party (Jan Adhikar Party) would oppose and boycott the release of Karan Johar and Salman Khan’s films in Bihar.
On the other hand, BJP MP and Bhojpuri actor Manoj Tiwari has demanded a CBI probe into the suicide case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
According to media reports, Manoj Tiwari reached Patna yesterday where he met Sushant Singh’s family and expressed condolences.
During the meeting, Manoj Tiwari also raised the issue of nepotism in Bollywood and said that Sushant Singh has also fallen victim to it.
