Date set for indictment of Ducky Bhai

A Lahore court has set 16 January to frame charges against YouTuber Saad ur Rehman also known as Ducky Bhai in a case related to promoting a gambling app.

According to ARY News Ducky Bhai and his wife Aroob Jatoi along with other accused appeared in court. Judicial Magistrate Naeem Watto gave them copies of the challan and summoned all accused for framing of charges.

The court ordered that charges will be framed against Ducky Bhai his wife and four other accused on 16 January.

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency has submitted the challan in court. Last year the agency registered a case against Ducky Bhai and others. The case claims that Ducky Bhai promoted a gambling app and encouraged people to use it.

Earlier Ducky Bhai said in an affidavit that his YouTube channel should be returned. He said that NCCIA raised objections on 17 videos. He promised that no changes will be made to these videos.

Reports say that he also stated that these 17 videos will not be deleted or edited. He added that YouTube is his only source of income. Due to lack of main access to his channel he is facing financial problems. The court has asked NCCIA to submit its reply on this matter.

It is important to note that the famous YouTuber was arrested on 17 August at Lahore airport while trying to go abroad. He was accused of money laundering through gambling apps.

The Lahore High Court approved his bail on surety bonds of 10 lakh rupees. He was released on bail on 26 November.
