In the past, Bilal Maqsood and Faisal Kapadia of Strings. One of Pakistan’s iconic music bands, have evoked the magic of their voices around the world for almost three decades.

The Strings won many awards in the world, one of which was to be featured in his music ‘Spider-Man’.
On March 25 last year. Not only Pakistan but also Indians were shocked by the sudden announcement of the break up of the band.

In a recent interview, Faisal Kapadia explained the reason for breaking the band. He said that it is very important to move forward with time.

He said that before the fall of the band. We ended the band by ourselves and got busy with our own affairs.
He further added that Bilal and he are still good friends and the trust they had in each other is still there.

Faisal Kapadia says that Strings was my identity and I still miss the band.
On March 25, 2021, the Strings announced the sudden dissolution of the band, thus ending the 33-year journey of the band consisting of Faisal Kapadia, Bilal Maqsood, Adeel Ali, Haider Ali, Ahmed Nayani and Bradley de Souza.

The band formed in the late 1980’s and has been making waves since college days.

From ‘Sir Ke Yeh Pahar’ to ‘Sajni’, the Strings have made a name for themselves in the corners of the world, leaving their mark on the hearts of their fans.

At the end of ‘Strings’, Bilal Maqsood, a founding member of the band and a well known guitarist, said that he and Faisal Kapadia were both feeling very strange.
