I am a fat-to-fit story, says Parineeti Chopra
Ever thought Parineeti Chopra would do an item number back when she made her Bollywood debut in 2011 with Ladies vs Ricky Bahl?
But, after a one-and-a-half year hiatus and some pretty intense training, Parineeti is back with a bang in a jaw-dropping avatar!
The Kill Dill actor sets the screen on fire alongside Varun Dhawan in an item number titled Jaaneman Aah for Dishoom.
And we just can’t stop ourselves from envying her hot bod.
Parineeti has indeed worked hard for this new look but it came with a price.
Bollywood’s unrealistic beauty standards put pressure on Parineeti, who then underwent rigorous training in order to survie in the face of cut-throat competiton.
“I am a fat-to-fit story. I have struggled with my weight. I was big and unhealthy, not chubby. I took it upon myself to work towards this. There was pressure of Bollywood to bring me on right part,” NDTV quotes her as saying.
“I was big and unfit. There are dancers in New York who are big but flexible. It took me a year-and-a-half to reach here. I am fit now. People need to be fit no matter what size they are.”
