Abhishek Makwana, co-author of India’s popular comedy-drama ‘Tariq Mehta ka Ulta chashma’, has committed suicide.
According to Indian media. Co-writer of the play Abhishek Makwana was suffering from financial problems. That is why he ended his life.
According to Mumbai Police, Abhishek had written a letter before his death. In which he said that financial problems were the reason for his suicide.
On the other hand, the family members of Abhishek Makwana said that they were victims of cybercrime.
The author of the comedy-drama found himself trapped in his own home. While the Mumbai police have taken statements from his family members and are now investigating the matter.
The popular sitcom, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s creator Abhishek Makwana also committed suicide. According to current news, his family is asserting that Abhishek was also victim of digital extortion and coercion. The family expressed that he was getting cellphone calls from blackmailers requesting. That Abhishek should pay again the home loan which was taken by him.
As per a report by Mumbai Mirror. On November 27, Abhishek died by suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan. He left a observe which talked about that he was dealing with monetary troubles.
