Saeedah Begum, mother of versatile Bollywood actor Irfan Khan, has passed away at the age of 95. Actor attended her mother’s funeral through video conferencing as she was abroad.
According to Indian media reports, Saeedah Begum was ill for a long time. On Saturday, she was shifted to the intensive care unit of the hospital due to a sudden deterioration in her health, where she died.
Saeedah Begum lived in Beniwal Kanta Krishna Colony, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Saeedah Begum belonged to the Nawab family of Tonk.
Due to the ongoing lockdown in India in view of the possible spread of Corona, only a few members of the family were allowed to attend the funeral of Irfan Khan’s mother.
