KARACHI: After five-year imprison sentence given to Bollywood whiz Salman Khan, fans and superstars in Pakistan and India have been communicating their help for the performer through web-based social networking.
Pakistani performing artist Mawra Hocane likewise responded to the decision. She raised her voice for Salman on Twitter.
"In a world with "NO" human rights, an awesome individual is being rebuffed for executing a creature umpteen years prior under every living creature's common sense entitlement. Bash me all you need, yet there's something totally off-base about it.. mind you such people are our redeeming quality!" she tweeted
The Jodhpur court today gave its decision on the blackbuck poaching case.
While Salman Khan was discovered blameworthy by the court and gave a five-year imprison term with a fine of Rs 10,000, Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam and Sonali Bendre were cleared.
Salman was blamed for slaughtering two blackbucks on October 2, 1998 in Kankani town in Jodhpur amid the shooting of the film Hum Saath Hain.
Salman was before vindicated on account of ownership of guns with terminated licenses.
