Lahore High Court dismisses singer Meesha Shafi appeal through video link.
Justice Safdar Saleem Shahid in the Lahore High Court. While ruling on the appeal of singer Meesha Shafi, dismissed the appeal of cross-examination through video link of the singer.
It may be recalled that earlier the Sessions Court had also rejected Meesha Shafi’s application for cross-examination through video link. After which the singer had challenged the decision of the Sessions Court in the High Court.
Meesha had taken the position that the Sessions Court had rejected the petition contrary to the facts. The singer’s position was that she cannot reside in Canada.
Meesha had requested the court to order the completion of the remaining cross-examination through video link. However, after the session court. Now the Lahore High Court has also rejected Meesha Shafi’s appeal.
