Nadeem Baig is regarded as one of Pakistan’s best and most successful filmmakers. He has provided hit after hit, and he is also the mastermind behind many more popular shows that come out. He also directed two cult classic plays, Pyare Afzal and Mere Paas Tum Ho. Speaking on Ahmed Ali Butt’s show, he revealed the probable endings of the two blockbusters, which may surprise you.
Everyone is familiar with Pyare Afzal’s classic death scene, in which Afzal dies while on the phone with Farah. He ultimately finds love but dies at the same moment. The drama propelled Hamza Ali Abbasi to stardom. But this is not how it was written. Afzal reportedly had to die while Farah was with him. Ayeza Khan was on set and in makeup when Nadeem Baig chose to shoot the sequence with only Hamza.
Here is what he revealed:
Mere Paas Tum Ho, another major disaster in which thousands of Danish people perished and millions of hearts were devastated, smashed all records. Nadeem Baig politely stated that he would modify the climax if he could do so again. He stated that this time he wants to rescue Danish so that he can repair the shattered hearts of fans and send the message that one can move on if their first love betrays them and find love again.
