Calling her a much-worthy candidate, Irrfan said the actress deserved a lot more than what has been currently coming her way.“Priyanka deserves every recognition coming her way. She deserves much more. The way she has reached there in such a small time and with so much recognition, I think she is doing great. And that industry is not easy. It is something that is happening out of this world and she deserves ever praise coming her way,” the veteran actor said.
Irrfan also expressed the hope of seeing Indian directors making a mark in the West: “I hope more and more people, especially directors, would also travel there and make a name for themselves. We have so many talented people here.
