Qateel Shafai’s some other mega hit musical movies wereNoukar (1955), Intezar (1956), Ishq-e-Laila (1957), Naela(1965), Dil Mera Dharkan Teri (1968), Saza (1970), Dosti(1971), Azmat (1973), Pehli Nazar (1977) etc.
Qateel Shafai also produced two movies. His first film as producer was a Pashto film Ajab Khan Afridae in 1971 and the second film was Pakistan’s only Hindko film Qissa Khawai in 1980.
Qateel Shafai was born on December 24, 1919 in Haripur, Hazara and died on July 11, 2001 in Lahore.
