Rahat Fatah Ali to receive honorary shield from Oxford University
LONDON: Oxford University of England has invited Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan to grace with an honorary shield, ARY News reported on Monday.
The famous singer will tour the university where a 200-year-old music room will be opened for him to visit. Students of music department of Oxford University will do a musical session with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan as well.
The university will award Rahat an honorary shield which has been given to only one Bollywood superstar that is Amitabh Bachchan.
“The award to be given by Oxford University will not be just for me but for the entire Pakistani nation and its music industry,” Rahat said.
