Bollywood’s famous actor Ranbir Kapoor explained the reason for not working in romantic comedy films.

Ranbir Kapoor, who is currently busy promoting his new romantic comedy film ‘Tojhoti Mein Makkar’, was last seen in the 2013 romantic comedy film ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani Mein’ opposite Deepika Padukone, but since then he has never Not seen in any movie.

Explaining the reason for staying away from romantic comedies for so long, he said, “I think for a number of reasons, I’ve been very cautious about doing a lot of romantic comedies because I’ve always been in those kinds of films. It’s been bad luck because my films took a long time to make, like ‘Barfi’ took 2 years and ‘Rockstar’ also took a long time.

“I also felt that the kind of romantic comedies I was offered, there was nothing new in their stories and they weren’t very exciting,” he added.

Ranbir Kapoor said, “That’s why I mentally retired from such films and I thought that maybe people don’t want to watch such films anymore.”

Explaining the reason for working in a romantic comedy film ‘To Jhuti Mein Makkar’ after such a long time, he said that a romantic comedy means that many factors have to come together, such as the story of the film, the characters, the director. , timing, casting, music etc.

He said that to make a successful romantic comedy film you need many factors and I think somewhere I saw all those factors in this film, so I decided to work in this film.
