When the veteran all-rounder and previous Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi reported to pull out from the association halfway. Afridi’s declaration came hours after the Gladiators’ success against Islamabad United.

In a video message delivered after the match. The Pakistani sixer lord said that his body isn’t permitting him to keep playing as of now. “The aggravation in my body has become deplorable and I can’t suffer it at this moment. I needed to play the PSL for my fans and needed it to finish strong. But I can’t do as such at this point. Please accept my apologies to the administration of Quetta Gladiators and my fans,” Shahid Afridi said.
