Former Pakistan Test cricketer and speed star Shoaib Akhtar has expressed condolences over the death of Sushant Singh Rajput and said that he was sorry that he could not talk to Sushant when he got the chance to meet him.
According to Indian media reports, Shoaib Akhtar in his recent video mentioned the meeting between the two stars in the Indian city of Mumbai which took place in 2016.
Shoaib Akhtar said that he met him (Sushant Singh Rajput) in 2016 when I was about to return to Pakistan from India. He didn’t look confident in me. When he passed me with his head bowed, a friend told me that these actors were making a film on Dhoni. I thought I had to see his film, he was from a respectable family, and he is making a good film.
“The film was a success, but I’m sorry I didn’t stop the boy and talk to him,” he said. I wish I could share my life experiences with someone who would help him see a wider field of life but I’m sorry I didn’t talk to him.
