Although the Pakistani drama business is renowned for its innovative concepts and excellent actors, certain productions exhibit overused clichés, dull plotlines, and overly extended episodes, much to the audience’s irritation. If there is one thing that tops it all, it is an actor’s exaggerated reactions.
Recently, a movie called Tere Bin with A-list stars Yumna Zaidi and Wahaj Ali caught the attention of internet users because of a moment in which actress Sabeena Farooq gave an extravagant dance performance.
As background, Haya is quite unhappy when Murtasim (Wahaj Ali) and Meerab (Yumna Zaidi) are married (played by Sabeena Farooq). At the couple’s wedding, Haya dances pitifully while attempting to look dejected but fails miserably. After the episode aired, social media users viciously mocked Farooq for her embarrassing dance routine and created a tonne of memes.
Yumna Zaidi, Wahaj Ali, Bushra Ansari, Farhan Ali Agha, and Fazila Qazi make up Tere Bin’s ensemble cast. The Siraj Ul Haq-directed and Nooran Makhdoom-written drama serial is a 7th Sky Entertainment production.
