The Punjab government has decided to include martial law in the educational curriculum of the province. An important meeting of the Information Steering Committee was held under the chairmanship of Information Minister Punjab Uzma Bukhari in which Secretary Information Tahir Raza Hamdani and other important representatives participated.
It was decided in the Information Steering Committee that films based on “Battle for Right” and national unity will be made under the Film Fund, while a drama on Shaheed Liaquat will be made under Alhamra Arts Council.
In the meeting, it was also decided to start a public awareness campaign to promote national unity. The participants of the meeting also requested DG ISPR to continue visiting educational institutions.
The subjects of patriotism and martial law will be included in the educational curriculum. It was also revealed in the meeting that there were no such programs for fighting rights in private educational institutions as in public institutions, instructions were issued to implement such programs in private schools as well.
