Actress and host Maham Aamir revealed that she has not only stopped men from misbehaving in markets and streets but has also beaten them up on the spot many times.
Maham was a guest on the popular show Mazaaq Raat, where she spoke openly about her personal and professional life.
She shared that her father is Punjabi, so she considers herself half Punjabi. Her father worked in the advertising industry, and she got the chance to act in commercials from a very young age. Her first ad was when she was just 9 months old.
Later, she appeared on screen as a child artist and then started working in theatre as an actress. Maham said her parents wanted her to become a CSS officer or a doctor, but she was always interested in the arts.
Talking about her husband, actor Faizan Sheikh, Maham said they first met in theatre. After working together on a theatre project, they quickly decided to get married. According to her, they skipped the romantic phase and directly had simple conversations that led to their nikah.
Maham called marriage a beautiful bond and said that girls should not be afraid of it. If a good proposal comes, they should accept it without delay.
In response to a question, she said she is quite tall, and because of that, boys were afraid of her even during school days. She admitted that she faced rude behavior many times in life, and in such situations, she boldly responded to the men and even beat them up. She said she has publicly hit more than six men in markets and streets so far.
