Pakistan’s leading host and producer Nida Yasir has expressed her opinion on choosing a son-in-law for her daughter. Recently, during her morning show, Nida Yasir spoke openly about choosing a future life partner for her daughter.
During the conversation on the program, guest Ghazal Siddiqui asked her what qualities she would expect in a son-in-law if her daughter introduced a boy of her choice?
In response to this question, Nida Yasir said that as a mother, I believe that parents should train their children in such a way that they can make important decisions in life wisely.
She said that my parents also trusted me, that is why I will respect my daughter’s choice. According to Nida Yasir, I would like my daughter to choose a life partner for herself that we do not need to object to. My husband, as a father, may also consider other aspects, but as a mother, I will prioritize my daughter’s opinion.
She also said that I have always provided my daughter with freedom, confidence and opportunities to understand the world. I believe that thanks to this training, my daughter is capable of making better decisions in choosing her future life partner.
