Sohail Sameer expresses concern over the trend of separating sons from parents after marriage
Pakistani actor Sohail Sameer, while expressing his views on marriages and family system in the present era, has said that some parents train their daughters in such a way that they try to separate their husbands from their parents after marriage.
Recently, Sohail Sameer participated in a morning show on a private TV, where he discussed the choice of relationships and the joint family system.
During the program, Sohail Sameer said that nowadays some new brides believe that after marriage, all the power in the in-laws’ house should be with them alone and the husband’s parents should go into the background.
According to him, some parents send their daughters away with the thought that they should separate their husbands from the joint family so that they do not have to face the pressure of their mother-in-law.
The actor says that most people forget that the mother-in-law is also a woman who once came to her in-laws in the same way and has gone through different stages of life.
Sohail Sameer also appreciated the sacrifices of the girls during the conversation and said that a girl leaves her parents, home and familiar environment and goes to a new family, which is a huge sacrifice, that is why husbands should take special care of their wives and give them respect, love and honor.
He also said that a father sends his daughter off with great hopes and confidence, therefore it is the responsibility of the husband and his family to provide love, respect and security to the new bride in her new home.
