In the first Test match, South Africa defeated Zimbabwe by a huge margin of 328 runs.
The match began on June 28 in Bulawayo. On the fourth day, Zimbabwe was bowled out for 208 runs in their second innings. South Africa had set a big target of 537 runs for Zimbabwe to win.
South Africa declared their first innings at 418 for 9, while they were all out for 369 runs in the second innings. Zimbabwe scored 251 runs in their first innings and 208 in the second.
South African player Lohan du Preez Pretorius, who scored 153 runs in the first innings, was named the player of the match.
The second Test between the two teams will be played in Bulawayo from July 6 to July 10.
