Bollywood actor Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor is all set to make her grand debut in Bollywood with her upcoming film Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan.
The filmmakers recently released the trailer of the film, and a grand event was held to officially launch the trailer, featuring both Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor.
The entire cast of the film attended the event, but it was actress Shanaya Kapoor’s stunning look that truly stole the spotlight.
While many social media users praised Shanaya’s beauty and presence at the trailer launch, the event also took an unexpected turn when Shanaya experienced a major wardrobe malfunction during the ceremony.
The situation became worse when a news portal shared a video of the incident online, highlighting the uncomfortable moment Shanaya faced at the event.
In a video shared by the Instagram handle Instant Bollywood, actress Shanaya Kapoor was seen feeling uncomfortable on her special day when the invisible strap of her beautiful blouse — which was holding two parts of the blouse together — suddenly snapped.
At that moment, surrounded by cameras, the actress quickly ran toward her team while trying to fix her blouse. The stress and discomfort were clearly visible on her face.
However, the Instagram page highlighted the moment using an arrow and posted the video with the caption: “Shanaya Kapoor handled her oops moment very gracefully.”
But the video came under heavy criticism from netizens. Social media users strongly condemned the portal for its irresponsible reporting.

In the comment section of the video, one user wrote, “What was the need to share Shanaya’s oops moment online?” While another commented, “She handled the oops moment well, but you’ve ruined your own reputation.”

On the other hand, actress Shanaya Kapoor bravely adjusted her outfit and confidently returned to the stage, earning praise from fans for her composure.
Born on November 3, 1999, Shanaya began her journey in the film industry as an assistant director for the movie Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl.
Although she was initially set to make her acting debut under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, that project was eventually shelved. Now, she is all set to step into Bollywood with Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan.
Apart from films, she also appeared in a music video with Guru Randhawa, which was released on YouTube on May 16, 2025.
