Aashir Wajahat and Nail Wajahat are two young Pakistani artists and singers who are now making news after their song Sadqay became popular on social media. The song peaked at number one on Spotify. The song has received 6.7 million YouTube views and has been trending on all social media platforms. People are also incorporating certain sections of the song in their reels. Ayushman Khurana, an Indian actor, also used the song in his reel. Aside from that, a large number of Pakistani superstars are creating reels for Sadqay.
Aashir and Nail Wajahat recently interviewed Omair Alavi for Voice of America Urdu. In a brief conversation, Aashir and Wajahat discussed Sadqay’s accomplishments. They went on to say “we are feeling good that it has been getting a great response and we are enjoying that the song is being shared by everyone including actors and influencers” .
When asked about the personality they want to notice in Sadqay, the two stated, “We would be thrilled if Shahrukh Khan shared it. We are avid Shahrukh Khan fans. We know he’s not particularly active on social media, but we may hope that if he shares our music, we’ll get a reward.” Regarding criticism, he stated that he realizes that an artist experiences both criticism and admiration as part of the process.
