Aina Asif and Samar Jafri shared their experience about working in a new drama, including their roles, the story, and what it was like to work with Naumaan Ijaz.
The young actor duo, Aina Asif and Samar Jafri, who became popular from the drama Mahi Raa, have come together again in a new drama. Fans have always loved their on-screen chemistry, and now they are back with new characters.
Both actors appeared on a private TV morning show along with other cast members of the drama. There, they openly talked about their roles and experiences.
Aina talked about her character Maya. She said Maya is a smart and hardworking girl who wants to become a doctor. She is willing to do anything for her education. She loves her father, but he wants her to get married. This creates confusion for Maya. She also loves Wali, but she does not want to give up on her dream. Aina said that Maya is a strong character and she tried her best to play it well.
Aina also said that Maya and her previous character Aini have some similarities, but their thinking is different.
Samar Jafri explained his character Wali. He said Wali is strict and short-tempered in the beginning. He was raised abroad, and now coming to Pakistan is a cultural shock for him. His cousin is a typical Karachi boy, and it is hard for Wali to adjust with him. This struggle is an important part of his role.
Samar expressed his happiness about working with senior actors Naumaan Ijaz and Sawera Nadeem. He said he felt very happy to get the chance to work with Naumaan Ijaz, who is playing his father in the drama. Samar was already a fan of him and even told his own father that working with Naumaan Ijaz feels like working with him. He said Naumaan Ijaz is very supportive and takes a deep interest in everyone’s roles.
