Famous writer and thinker Anwar Maqsood showed unity with the nation during the recent Pakistan-India tension. He said that during tough times, we realize the true value of the army, and today, 250 million Pakistanis have become soldiers.
In a recent talk, he said that he may not have weapons, but his pen is his real weapon, and he will do whatever he can for his country. He also stressed that starting a war is easy, but ending it is very difficult, so it is important not to make the situation worse.
He did not celebrate the falling of five Indian planes, but instead felt sad over the loss of innocent Pakistani lives. Anwar Maqsood said that the respect for a flag is the same for everyone. Just like an Indian loves and respects their flag, he also respects the Pakistani flag with the same love.
In the end, he said that times have changed, and now no country should move towards war. He said that everyone must unite and move forward under the guidance of the government and army for the progress of the country.
