Azaan Sami Khan shared a memorable video of his fighter pilot grandfather
Famous Pakistani singer and actor Azaan Sami Khan was reminded of his late grandfather Arshad Sami Khan after the success of Operation Baniyan Marsous. His grandfather was a Squadron Leader in the Pakistan Air Force.
Azaan Sami Khan shared a video on his Instagram story. The video shows Pakistan Air Force officers giving an interview to the media after their victory in the 1965 war. The video has now gone viral on social media.
In the video, Azaan’s late grandfather, Squadron Leader Arshad Sami Khan (Retired), and other officers are seen proudly telling the media that they shot down Indian fighter jets like small birds.
He also said that the Indian fighter jets they shot down included 9 to 10 MiG aircraft.
Just like the recent tension, India had also made false claims during the 1965 war about shooting down Pakistani jets.
In the viral interview video clip, the Pakistan Air Force officers can be seen saying that they do not believe the Indian military is capable of shooting down their planes. They said that during the war, there was a moment when it seemed like India might try to target their aircraft, but they forced the Indian side to pull back.
The officers also warned the Indian military in the interview, saying not to send any more British-made aircraft because they were giving those jets very bad publicity here.
The officers added that in war, it does not matter how advanced your weapons are. What really matters is the courage and spirit of the soldier. A person with no strength or courage cannot win a war just by flying a good aircraft.
After watching this viral video, the nation proudly says that even after using British, Russian, and now the latest French-made Rafale fighter jets, the Indian military has failed again and again to defeat Pakistani fighter pilots.
Even after six decades, during the recent tension, the Pakistan Air Force kept its strong tradition. They gave a powerful response to the enemy’s attack and then, in a press conference, Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed used humor and clever comments to reply to India’s false claims. Because of this, he became a center of attention on social media.
It is important to remember that in response to Indian aggression, the Pakistan Air Force shot down six Indian aircraft and drones.
The aircraft that Pakistan shot down included advanced Rafale fighter jets made by a French company.
