Azhar Mahmood Appointed as Acting Head Coach for Pakistan Test Team
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that Azhar Mahmood will be the acting head coach of the Pakistan men’s Test (red-ball) team. He will continue in this role until his current contract ends.
Azhar Mahmood is a well-known figure in Pakistan cricket. He has already worked as the assistant coach of the national team and has been part of the team’s planning and coaching for a long time. Because of his strong understanding of the game and his international experience, the PCB believes he is the right person for the job.
