Bushra Ansari expressed her views on the rising tension between Pakistan and India, saying that it is not the common people but influential personalities who are spreading hatred among the public.
In a recent video statement, the senior Pakistani actress showed concern over the increasing tensions between the two countries. She mentioned that there is no atmosphere of hate among the ordinary people of both countries, but the problem lies with some influential Indian figures who are promoting hateful and provocative statements.
Bushra Ansari made it clear that common people want peace and harmony, while negative statements from the media and celebrities are making the situation worse. Without naming Indian film writer Javed Akhtar, she criticized him, saying that he spreads joy when he visits here but goes there and spreads venom.
She advised Javed Akhtar to remain silent. She said that Naseeruddin Shah and others are also silent, and if you can’t say something good, you should fear God.
According to her, these people who stir up public emotions and spread misunderstandings are damaging the relationships between both nations.
