Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has said that for the first time in 22 years, she was paid equal to male actors.
According to Indian media, while speaking on a show, Priyanka Chopra said that the new web series ‘Citadel’ was paid the same as her co-star Richard Madden.
Priyanka Chopra said that I may get in trouble for saying this, I have been working in the entertainment industry for 22 years and I have done about 70+ films and 2 TV shows.
But when I worked in the web series ‘Citadel’, it was the first time in my career that I was paid equally.
According to Indian media, the trailer of ‘Citadel’ was released on March 1, while its first two episodes will be aired on April 28.
The action-packed thriller web series also stars Richard Madden.
