Famous Pakistani actor Fawad Khan is making a return to Bollywood after a long break of nine years. In his new film Abeer Gulal, he is starring alongside Vaani Kapoor in the main role. The film’s first romantic song “Ishq Khudaya,” sung by Arijit Singh and Shilpa Rao, was recently released and has been loved by the audience.
Fawad Khan last worked in the 2016 Bollywood film Kapoor & Sons, and now he is back in the news because of Abeer Gulal. Reports suggest that the Pakistani superstar is being paid between 5 to 10 crores for this big-budget film.
On the other hand, in Pakistan, Fawad Khan earns around 15 to 20 lakh rupees per TV drama episode. The actress playing the heroine opposite him in the film, Vaani Kapoor, is reportedly being paid around 1.5 crore rupees.
The film Abeer Gulal is directed by Arti S. Bagdi and has been shot in the beautiful locations of London. It will be released in cinemas on May 9.
