Irfan Ahsan revealed the reality behind throwing money at weddings
Irfan Ahsan, a well-known wedding photographer from Pakistan who has covered the weddings of famous people like Atif Aslam and Junaid Safdar, has made a surprising statement.
Throwing money at weddings has become a common trend. People throw money on the bride and groom, on qawwals, or on dancers. It has now become a kind of fashion.
Irfan Ahsan revealed that many times this act of throwing money is only for the cameras. The money is not actually given to the performers.
Irfan shared a story from an elite wedding where the qawwals were told not to pick up the money from the ground. They were promised that all the money would be collected and given to them later. After throwing millions of rupees in the air, the men from the family collected the money in bags and in the end, did not give even a single rupee to the qawwals.
He also revealed that fake currency was given to a famous singer’s team at a wedding. When they went to fill petrol in their car using that money, the police stopped them and found out that all the notes were fake.
According to Irfan’s team, the dollars thrown at weddings are always one-dollar bills. Bigger notes are never used.
