Famous Pakistani actress and young businesswoman Komal Aziz Khan recently appeared on a morning show where she shared her biggest fear with the public.
During the show, Komal said that everyone knows she is very brave and not afraid of anything, except marriage. She said this is the last and biggest fear of her life, and she still has not overcome it.
She added that she can go to protests, she can fight, and she has even faced feudal lords and police officers, but marriage is still something that worries her.
Explaining her point, Komal said that the marriages she has seen around her were not very bad, but not very good either. They were just full of compromise. That is why, for her, financial and emotional independence is important before marriage.
She also said that clothes, shoes, jewelry, and bags shine for only a few days, and after that, real responsibilities begin. After marriage, many women leave their jobs because families still do not allow them to work.
Komal believes that emotional freedom only comes when a woman is financially independent, and that is what she wants to achieve before getting married.
