Mishi Khan Criticizes Atif Aslam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for Staying Silent During Pakistan-India Tensions
Right now, there is tension between Pakistan and India, and many people in Pakistan are speaking up on social media. From actors and singers to common people, everyone is showing love and support for their country. Pakistani celebrities are standing together and raising their voices online. But two of Pakistan’s most famous singers, Atif Aslam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, have not said anything.
Actress Mishi Khan recently shared a video in which she strongly questioned their silence. She said that while every Pakistani is worried and using their voice, these two popular singers are completely silent. She also reminded people that both Atif and Rahat have worked a lot in India and have many songs in Bollywood. She compared them to Indian celebrities who are openly supporting their country.
Mishi Khan said that it’s very disappointing that Atif and Rahat couldn’t even write two words for Pakistan on social media. She joked that maybe Rahat drank water with sleeping pills, and Atif is still sleeping. According to her, both singers should feel ashamed for not standing with their country when it really needs them.
