National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Lahore has registered a case against Saqib Chadar on the complaint of Khatoon M. Momina Iqbal on charges of cyber harassment, blackmail, publication of obscene material, illegal surveillance and death threats.
According to the documents, the complainant stated that the accused Saqib Chadar started harassing her after the marriage proposal was rejected. In the complaint, it was alleged that the accused sent threatening messages, tried to commit suicide and continued blackmailing through various means.
According to the complaint, Khatoon’s alleged indecent videos and private information were shared with various people without her consent, which affected her personal life and reputation. NCCIA recorded the statements of the complainant and other concerned persons during the inquiry while digital evidence, mobile phones and other devices were sent for forensic examination.
According to the authorities, preliminary technical analysis has revealed some evidence on the basis of which a case has been registered under the PICA Act, 2016 (Amendment 2025) and other relevant laws. The NCCIA said the case will be investigated entirely on the merits, evidence and the law while further investigations are underway.
